In war, finance is no longer about numbers.
It’s about manageability: how not to lose control when plans fall apart, the lights go out, and decisions still have to be made.
In this session, three CFOs from large businesses will compile 10 standards for wartime:
– What triggers force a change in scenario
– Where is the line between saving money and losing the future? – What really works with banks and partners?
– Where does AI already help, and where does it add risk?
The format is secure: no numbers, no case names, just the logic behind the decisions.
This is a “check-in” with those who maintain the systems on a daily basis.
Questions for the CFO War-Time Standards Lab Structure logic 75 minutes Introduction (5 min) → 3 blocks of 18 min → Q&A (16 min)
BLOCK 1. Control and manageability
1. There was a moment in 2024-2025 when you realized: “the old rules no longer work.” What was that moment, and what exactly did you change?
2. What 2-3 indicators do you look at every day, and why those in particular, and not others?
3. When do you realize it’s time to change the scenario? What trigger is indisputable for you?
4. Where have you consciously given up control, and why is that the right decision?
BLOCK 2. Liquidity, banks, partners (trust as a resource)
1. How has your approach to liquidity changed compared to before the war? What is your “untouchable reserve” and why?
2. How do you maintain the trust of banks and financial partners in conditions where forecasts are unreliable?
3. Where is the line between “saving cash” and “losing the future” — how do you feel it and how do you explain it to owners?
4. What really strengthens relationships with partners now — and what destroys them faster than ever?
BLOCK 3. Data, decisions, AI
1. What data do you trust now, and what data have you stopped trusting? What has changed in the quality of information for decision-making?
2. Where does AI already really help in your work, specifically?
3. Where does AI add risk or the illusion of control, and how do you work with that?
4. What decision from the past year would you have made differently, and what would that have changed?
