1. What do you think about OECD corporate profit tax of 15% and it’s influence on off-shore jurisdictions?
1.1 As a sub-question – do you think that Dubai/Er Riyad will be the future for global companies or are there some kind of reputation risks etc?
2. What are your thiughts about crypto?
2.1 Sub-questions are – does it have inner value? Can it replace ‘casual’ money (fiat)? Or is it more like virtual asset, papers or just speculative thing?
3. What are the most important questions related to making business in USA? I mean – what are main blockers not to do it for foreigners?
4. It seems like USA banking system is outdated – slow, too bureaucratic. Is it correct or I have wrong impression?
5. Very specific question – in few simple thesises could you please explain difference between LLC & C-Corp in USA and what format suits better for what kind of business?
6. In Ukraine we struggle with efficient ERP system. I know that Quickbooks is very popular in USA for small to middle business. Overall – what’s going on on this field in USA lately and what solution would you advise from experience to use? Zoho/Dynamics/SAP etc.
7. About finance strategy. What is your thoughts about budgeting – do you find regular updates (forecasts) usefull, for example, on monthly/quaterly basis or maybe go with beyond budget approach or some other option?
8. Insights about project/business estimation. Should we go with some 1-2-5X Revenue or EBITDA valuation or is there better way to calculate? For Ukraine – we have country risk now, companies are underrated. In case owner still wants to sell business – what may be done to increase estimation?
9. M&A. What is the most important during M&A flow? Maybe some good or bad cases from experience.
10. As far as I know, you are expert in strategic planning. In the past 7 years, I have come across the opinion that strategy in the classical sense has “died”, and 3-5 year planning horizon is a modern strategy (at least it’s true for the businesses from the post-Soviet union countries). How do you feel about this?
11. What would you focus on in strategic planning if you were the CEO of a Ukrainian company during the war? For what period would strategic planning be carried out? Would you continue to develop your company on the local market? I am interested in your opinion in general about strategic planning during war and in conditions of high uncertainty.
12. Could you please tell us about your experience of managing representative offices in different countries from the finance and taxation point of view. What principles were used to build an effective reporting management system, because we all know that different countries have different reporting deadlines, audit requirements and so on? Are there any your own “life-hacks” on this matter? When setting up business processes whom you rely on more: local employees or outsource? If outsource, how did you choose such companies? What would you prefer international or local companies?
13. Please reveal the issue of multiculturalism in a large organization. How much does it affected your work? How did you arrange it? Has it been possible to develop a corporate culture that is the same for all offices? Had it been adapted to different countries? If so, what was the adaptation?
